Graduate Spotlights

Erik Segriff

Erik has taken the internet by storm, working across film, television, and games as a true multidisciplinary force.

"In case it wasn't already obvious, I just wanted to reiterate how unbelievably helpful Follygon's teachings were for me, and how I use those principles in pretty much everything I do to this day! Even when it comes to 2D or animation work."

Portfolio

Andrew Johnston

Already a professional artist before entering Follygon’s mentorship, Andrew pushed even further and now creates world-class 3D art at Supercell in London.

“It was amazing to be blocked or unsure how to proceed and then have Follygon jump in and show me options on how he would go about next steps. I learned so much this way.”

Portfolio

Luiza Diniz

After her mentorship with Follygon, Luiza secured a role as a 3D Character Artist at Timberline Studio, where her voice and craft continue to grow.

"Before being mentored by Follygon, I was looking at a few different options. I liked the fact that under Follygon, it was about picking a character that you wanted to make while learning from the man himself. This just adds to the learning process as you get specific feedback on what you are doing right and wrong. I enjoyed this very much. Out of all online resources this is up there as one of the programs I learned the most from, keep up the good work."

Portfolio

Bram Smulders

With over a decade of 3D modeling behind him, Bram is a versatile artist who adapts to any style and constantly pushes his craft forward through personal projects and exploration.

“I've done 5 years of Visual Art for games, but looking back I found there was incredibly little on how to make proper art. Mostly software and teamwork, but little to no art fundamentals. I never really knew why things looked right sometimes and why it didn't. Follygon made me learn more about art in a few months than school did in 5 years!”
